When we talk about the Lord Jesus Christ, it is important to look beyond the surface and understand the real picture of the Man, Jesus. He was not just a prophet or a teacher; He was God manifested in human form, yet He fully shared in our humanity. In Adam, humanity inherited sin, death, and separation from God. But in Christ, we receive life, reconciliation, and eternal hope.
The Apostle Paul makes this very clear: just as death entered through the disobedience of one man (Adam), so also life and resurrection come through one Man, Jesus Christ. This is the real picture of Jesus — the second Adam, the restorer of what was lost in Eden.
Jesus was fully human, experiencing hunger, thirst, pain, sorrow, and even temptation — yet He did not sin. At the same time, He was fully God, with power to forgive sins, heal the sick, and raise the dead. This dual nature is not a contradiction but a divine reality that makes Him uniquely qualified to be our Savior.
Unlike Adam, who fell into disobedience, Jesus was obedient to the Father, even to the point of death on the Cross. His obedience broke the curse of sin and opened the door to eternal life. The real picture of the Man, Jesus, is not just of a religious leader but of the One who conquered death, giving us victory and hope.
For us as believers, this understanding must influence our daily walk. Knowing that we are no longer under Adam’s curse but under Christ’s victory should bring assurance, boldness, and gratitude. In moments of weakness, trials, or temptation, we can look at Jesus, the true Man who overcame, and draw strength to overcome as well.
As we continue to meditate on this truth, let us remember that Christianity is not about religion but about life in Christ. He is our righteousness, our resurrection, and our eternal hope. Truly, when we see Man at His Best, we are reminded that while Hezekiah brought reform, Jesus goes beyond reform to complete restoration and eternal life.

The real picture of Jesus is not just a man in history but the Savior who conquered death and offers life to all who believe.
